The Journey
Developed in-residence with Creative Greensboro, this evolving body of work invites viewers into the sacred in-between: the fertile, often obscured terrain of becoming. Rather than presenting resolved compositions, the project centers process as praxis a meditation on the raw, intuitive, and iterative nature of kreation itself.
Each piece was held in a state of intentional incompletion, offering a contemplative space where marks, gestures, and material choices remain visible, unresolved, and alive. Viewers were invited not as passive observers, but as witnesses to emergence; joining the work in motion to evoke the kreative within.
I wove authentic storytelling with careful analytics to not only elevate engagement and drive sales but to amplify the project’s impact. By systematizing operations, I smoothed workflows and energized participation, crafting proposals and managing the initiative with both passion and precision. This balance helped secure vital support from partners like Jerry’s Artarama, grounded in clear, measurable outcomes. Alongside this, I curated 25 free workshops designed to build creative skills—bringing together a diverse cast of models, influencers, furniture designers, A&Rs, and muralists for live interviews and candid Q&As. These gatherings became vibrant crossroads where aspiring, emerging, and seasoned kreatives could connect, learn, and grow together.
This practice challenged the illusion of resolution and embraced the act of kreation as a durational ritual; one that resists finality in favor of presence. The destination is not a place, but a process. Not an ending, but a becoming.
